Our New Home

It's been over 5 months since my last post, and a lot has changed for Steve and I.  The biggest change is that we moved to Bentonville, Arkansas -- Walmart central!  After graduating from BYU with a degree in Finance, Steve was offered a job with Walmart.  He's in the MLP (Merchant Leadership Program) and is loving it so far!  I have to admit that when we found out we were moving to Bentonville, we had to look on a map to double check where Arkansas is.  Turns out it's over by Oklahoma and Missouri.  Now we've been in Bentonville for about a month, and time is flying by!

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE!!  I can't think of a more perfect place for Steve and I to be.  The people have been so welcoming and friendly, our apartment is amazing, we love the weather (most days haha), and I haven't gotten lost yet!  From the minute we arrived, I've just felt this "click," like this is where we're supposed to be.  We can't believe how perfectly everything has fallen into place, and we're feeling especially blessed because of it.

So, when we decided to move to Bentonville we started looking for an apartment.  Because neither one of us has ever been to the area, we relied on the internet for most of our search.  We ended up finding a brand new apartment complex that was only 5 minutes away from Steve's work!  Based entirely on a single picture of the kitchen, as well as some positive reviews online, we decided we'd found where we would live.  We hoped we'd like it, but we never imagined how great it would be.  It's about twice as big as our last apartment, and it's cheaper too! We have a second bedroom for storage and my music things, but I don't have a picture of that.  I'm planning to post some other pictures soon of the furniture all set up, but until then, this gives you the main idea! We are so excited for our new adventure in Arkansas :-) I've made a goal to blog more frequently, so check back soon for more updates!
